SharePoint: How to exclude results from people search with Active Directory

1) Go to the Shared Services page (where you edit search settings)
2) Select "Search Settings"
3) On search settings, go to "Metadata Property Mappings
4)Create a new managed property
5) Add Mapping

Now in our case we wanted to exclude Administrator accounts. Our administrators all had the word Data as their office. Once the property is mapped, it is available as and exclude option.

To use it...

6) Go to Search Settings
7) Select view scopes
8) Select people
9) Add a new rule which is a property query
10) Choose the previously mapped data
11) Choose exclude
